Charity Quilt-in-a-day Sew-in Event
Location: Okotoks, Alberta
With things opening up across the country, TrendTex is re-starting up our charity program. This time around we are doing a focused month and calling it Project Hugs. We’re aiming to donate 1000 quilts across the country in the month of May. The quilts go to the local Ronald McDonald house, who TrendTex has donated to in the past 😊
The program is very straight forward with it being just a 1 day sewing event. These events were very popular pre- pandemic. The quilt is a very simple quilt as you go.
Everything is included in the kit, lunch will be provided and along with snacks/coffee/tea.
You will be required to bring your own sewing machine, and any other helpful tools you may need when quilting. Kits will be shipped to us at The Fabric Loft and will be there for you the day of the event.
